On Eastern Avenue West in Romford, Powerleague has added padel to an established 5-a-side football centre, with the courts under canopies so play goes ahead rain or shine, and a Babolat partnership supplying rackets and balls.

Bookings are made in the Playtomic app, separately from any Powerleague account, up to seven days ahead, and can be cancelled up to 12 hours before. Players can pay as they play or take a membership with discounts and early booking. Racket rental is £3. Intro to Padel sessions come with free rackets and balls, coaching runs from beginner to advanced, and tournaments and open matches are organised through Playtomic.

The venue has showers, hot food and drink, and a function room with catering and a late licence. Rain does not bring a refund unless the weather is severe.
