About this club
One minute's walk from Shoreditch High Street station, Powerleague's Shoreditch 5-a-side centre on Braithwaite Street added panoramic padel courts in July 2024. Play goes ahead rain or shine, and there are no refunds for wet weather.
Courts are booked through the Playtomic app up to seven days ahead, or 10 to 14 days for members, and cancellations are free via Playtomic up to 12 hours before. Rackets and tubes of balls can each be rented for £3 from the clubhouse, which also sells equipment and has a shop and bar. A Babolat partnership gives players 10% off all Babolat padel gear.
Beginners can start with an Intro to Padel session, which includes free rackets and balls, and qualified coaches run lessons from beginner to advanced. Tournaments are held regularly alongside ordinary pay and play.
