The Padel Yard

Armoury Way in Wandsworth is the address of The Padel Yard, run in collaboration with Game4Padel, with courts on all-weather turf and a pickleball court alongside. It opened in October 2023. A June 2025 report said the site is set to close once redevelopment begins, with members able to transfer to the sister venue at Vauxhall Square, so check the current position before planning far ahead.

Courts are priced per player rather than per court, at £15 an hour for non-members or £12 for members, and everything is booked through the MATCHi app or website. Non-members book seven days ahead, members 20 days, with a cap of six upcoming bookings each. Membership is £40 a month on a 12-month minimum and covers all Game4Padel venues in the UK.

Beyond lessons and fitness classes the venue puts on DJ sets, live music, salsa nights and big-screen sport, and takes birthday, corporate and hen-do bookings. The bar serves craft beers and smoothies, and there is an equipment shop.
