About this club

Crilly Park on Spa Road in Atherton, the home ground of Atherton Laburnum Rovers FC, is an unusual setting for padel: LR Padel Club's covered courts sit at the non-league football ground, and the main car park is kept for the football club on match days. The courts have pro-grade surfaces, mesh side fencing, reinforced glass back walls and LED lighting.

No membership is required and booking is exclusively through the Playtomic app (search 'LR Padel Club'), with cancellations allowed up to 24 hours before. Racket hire is £3.50 from the club shop. The weekly programme includes Intro to Padel sessions, ladies' sessions that finish with a free coffee, men's and junior sessions, private coaching at £20 per person off-peak on weekdays, and socials and events, all booked through Playtomic.

A clubhouse container serves hot drinks, iced coffees, iced matcha and snacks. Players take part at their own risk and padel or tennis shoes are strongly recommended.
