Galley Lane on the Arkley edge of Barnet is home to Dyrham Park Golf & Country Club, where Rocks Lane, which also runs padel at Chiswick, Barnes, Trevose and Polzeath, has put in brand new outdoor courts inside the country club grounds.

Booking is through Playtomic or by phone, and every adult player must register on the Playtomic app before playing; payment can be split at booking. Non-members can only book one day ahead, while padel members get up to 28 days, which is the main reason to join.

Adult and junior courses run alongside inclusive padel socials on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10am to noon. The 300 square metre clubhouse has a cafe, fully licensed bar, seating, softplay, changing facilities and showers, and there is a racket testing centre where the pros help players choose a racket.
