Eltham's Avery Hill Campus of the University of Greenwich hosts Tour Padel's uncovered courts, run by a company that says it launched with one objective, to increase the accessibility of padel in the UK.

Bookings are made in the Playtomic app and nobody needs to join the membership package to play, though an optional loyalty membership exists. Equipment hire is fully automated: rackets and balls sit in QR-code lockers, unlocked through a Rate My Restring account, with the deposit refunded on photo proof of return rather than handled at a staffed desk. If rain interrupts a game, Tour Padel offers free rescheduling or credit.

Private and group coaching, regular social mix-ins, Playtomic open matches and a WhatsApp community make up the play calendar.
